This week the UK High Court is set to hear the closing arguments in the pivotal clash between Berkshire Hathaway-backed Equitas and Randall & Quilter (R&Q)-owned Brandywine - a dispute which involves more than 4,000 LMX spiral-related claims dating back to the infamous Exxon Valdez oil spill in 1989 and the Kuwait Airways (KAC/BA) loss in the first Gulf war.
