UK government mulls satellite liability cap

The UK Space Agency is considering a change to the calculation of third-party liability requirements for satellites that would boost the space insurance industry, The Insurance Insider can reveal.

Sources speaking to this publication said the government agency was consulting on a new "fleet-based" assessment of third-party liability cover that would replace current per-vehicle requirements.
