Bermuda-headquartered White Mountains is the latest (re)insurer to enter the convergence arena by unveiling a new capital markets division through its reinsurance arm Sirius International.
The unit will be co-headed by former Deutsche Bank executive Michael Halsband alongside existing Sirius executive Deanne Nixon, and will focus on the insurance-linked securities (ILS) and reinsurance capital markets convergence sector.
