Lloyd's insurers have sued oil titan BP and rig contractor
Transocean, claiming they face potentially conflicting insurance
claims from the two companies due to the fallout from the Deepwater
Horizon disaster.
The Lloyd's insurers were participating on a $950mn excess
liability programme sold to Transocean and dispute BP's claim
that it is an "unrestricted additional insured" party
under the policy's fourth excess layer.
The filing in the US district court for the eastern district of
