RMS 11 to complicate European renewals again

Property catastrophe renewals in Europe at 1 January will be complicated by the latest release of catastrophe modeller RMS's software RMS 11, according to sources.

After the 2012 renewals were complicated by brokers and ceding companies challenging the output of RMS' updated European windstorm module, it is understood the battle has raged on to disrupt the 2013 renewal process.
