Tower Hill looks set to become the latest Florida
homeowners' insurer to take on a raft of policies from Citizens
Property Insurance Corporation, as the state-backed insurer
continues its drive to de-risk.
Earlier this month it emerged that Florida Insurance Commissioner
Kevin McCarty had approved the removal of 150,000 policies from
Citizens by a quartet of private companies. They represent around
10 percent of its total outstanding policies.
