Pennsylvania-based insurer Erie Indemnity has received a
complaint by the trustees of Erie Insurance Exchange alleging that
it owes $308mn of fees to the Exchange.
Erie Indemnity is the managing attorney-in-fact for policyholders
at the Erie Insurance Exchange, a subscriber-owned reciprocal
insurer that writes P&C business across the US.
Erie Indemnity provides sales, underwriting and administrative
services as well as issuing policies on behalf of the Exchange and
collectively both units fall under Fortune 500 ranked firm Erie
Insurance Group...
