P&C (re)insurers should counter the prevailing low interest
environment by increasing their appetite for investment risk.
That was the view expressed by the respondents to a Towers Watson
survey when asked about the sector's current investment
strategy.
The survey, which asked the opinion of 16 equity analysts covering
the P&C sector, found that two-thirds of those questioned
believed there was scope for increased risk on the investment side.
