Aviation rates were on average 17 percent lower on a
risk-adjusted basis in the first half of the year, Aon's latest
aviation report shows.
The rate movement was driven by both an increase in exposure and a
reduction in premium, amid a very modest level of losses compared
to historical levels.

Aon said that the average fleet value (AFV) on
renewing programmes was up 4 percent for the year-to-date, with
passenger numbers up 6 percent.
