The big three brokers' dominance of the Lloyd's market
increased in 2011 as their market share across all lines grew from
48 percent to 52.9 percent, according to Lloyd's figures
obtained by The Insurance Insider.
Lloyd's publishes anonymised figures showing the year-on-year
movements in market share of the 20 biggest brokers, with different
broking houses identified merely by a ranking number.
Aon - which sources have identified as the highest ranked company -
saw its 2010 market share of 19.1...
