The top 10 European insurers in the non-life sector increased
total premium volume by 3 percent in 2011 to EUR198,150mn,
according to data published by the Mapfre Foundation last week.
German insurance giant Allianz again led the rankings with premiums
written of EUR44,772mn, but it was Mapfre that recorded by far the
largest increase in revenues relative to its peers.
