The final report on the Rio-Paris Airbus A330 crash that cost
insurers $500mn in 2009 has advocated improved pilot training and
cockpit design among its 25 recommendations for preventing a repeat
of the disaster.
Air France has been at loggerheads with plane maker Airbus over who
should take responsibility for the crash, which killed 228 people
and was one of the largest single risk losses of 2009 at over
$500mn.
