Estimates scatter for $1bn Dallas hailstorm
The Insurance Council of Texas (ICT) has estimated insured
losses from the recent hailstorms in Dallas at just under $1bn -
significantly less than the $2bn put forward by another local trade
body last week.
The Dallas area was struck by hailstorms on 13 June that were
deemed by the US National Weather Service to be the worst in the
