Lightyear Capital, the private equity (PE) owner of Lloyd's (re)insurer Antares, has held talks with at least three potential partners as it looks to raise additional equity to grow the business, The Insurance Insider can reveal.
Lightyear is understood to have talked to former Brit CEO Dane Douetil, who has been linked to the European PE firm Anacap. Sources said that the founding CEO of Ascot Martin Reith - who also has support from PE - has also spoken separately...
