Former top executives at MF Global including Jon Corzine could
face legal claims over negligence that led to the firm's
collapse, according to a long-awaited report by a court-appointed
trustee.
James Giddens, charged with liquidating the firm, said there may be
valid claims against individuals and entities, which he would
pursue through litigation and negotiation. Giddens is weighing up
his options and has 60 days to commence an action.
