After a five-year flood of UK specialty (re)insurers domiciling
away from their home country Chaucer's revelation that,
following a strategic review, it is to stay put in the UK is a
welcome development to the impoverished HM Treasury.
Given that the bulk of the sector has already flown the coop, the
relatively small scale Chaucer may end up being a question of too
little too late, but is nonetheless a vindication of some of the
campaigning executed by The Insurance...
